I have a project where a sequence of tasks is on a different calendar. The
majority of the project is on the standard (5x7) calendar, measured in days.
A portion of it is on the 7x24 calendar, measured in hours. Within (neither
at the beginning, nor at the end) the 7x24 sequence, there is a summary task
with a dozen tasks under it. The summary sequence begins in late January 07
and ends in mid December 07. Should be about 20 days' duration, or 480
consecutive hours, give or take. The summary task, however, shows 66 days
duration. The summary task, like its subtasks, is on the 24/7 hourly
calendar. Why won't it show its duration in hours, and why does it show such
an inflated number of days in its duration?
Ideas?
