OEM Publisher 2002 purchased - can't install-HELP!

I purchased an OEM Publisher 2002, which said it was
legal, etc. It will not install. (I have Windows XP) I've
never bought an OEM version of anything - Am I just out
of luck? Any suggestions? (I do not have a previous
version of Publisher)

You can't purchase OEM Publisher unless it comes installed on a new
computer. And Publisher is ONLY legally operational on that computer. So it
is illegal to sell OEM copies of Publisher to the general public. Find the
source and get a full refund, then purchase a legal copy of Publisher 2003
(current version) and you will obtain full support, including free
installation support.
