We have had no issues installing Office 2000 on three Windows 2003 (Web
Edition) servers so far. However, we are having a problem now with a fourth
server. When we enter the key, the message "Invalid CD Key"appears. We use
the same key that works on all the other servers (we have a volume
licencing) and from the same setup files (on network). We've made sure
we've entered the correct key. We can also leave the key blank and then
click on Next, which I'm not sure if supposed to be able to do this.
However, if we try to do a custom setup, it just hangs; if we do a standard
install we have problems with Excel. Argh !!
Any ideas besides reinstalling the server software?
Thanks in advance.
