I deploy Office 2000 and 2002 from a network install point by publishing
them in Active directory GPO
I have a MST that sets the advertise to all users, plus I set it in the
initialization file.
When a domain administrator initially installs it (from the add remove
software menu), it does not advertise to any other users on the PC. Each
user has to re-run the install at which point it runs a mini-install and
then works for that user.
To get around it, I have to install it, then do it again for a new user,
then copy that new user profile to the default user profile, at which point
everyone now gets access to it.
It is not supposed to work that way.
