Office 2000 Products Require Office 2000 CD to Run

I installed Office 2000 with Windows ME, and later
updated to Windows XP. Now when I try to run any Office
2000 appl;ication, such as Word, I am asked to insert the
Office 2000 CD in order to get it to run. It appears to
look for something on the CD, then the application runs
OK. It is just a drag to always have to have the first
CD in ffice 2000 in there to get Word, Excel, etc. to
run. I tried re-installing it, repairing it and
everything, but it still requires the Office 2000 to run
any applications.

How do I repair this problem so I can put my Ocffice 2000
CD away?

Do a clean boot ofWindows and then uninstall Office. Then reinstall it
