I had to reinstall Windows 2000 on a machine. I did not format, rather
installed on top of itself. Everything went fine except now when I try to
open Office (Word, Outlook, etc.) it tells me "This patch package could not
be opened.Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid
Windows installer package." I tried to uninstall from Add/Remove Programs
and I get the same message. I tried to run setup.exe from the disk that
Office was installed and I get the same. How do I manually uninstall office,
or can you give me insite on how to reregister the apllication that is
already there?
