office 2000 templates

I recently switched from Office 97 to 2000. When I loaded
the 2000 Version from cd I did not get the 2000 templates
to load. Thus I still have the old Windows 95 templates on
the drive. This is creating quite a problem with sending
forms via E-MAIL. How do I remove the old templates and
install the proper 2000 templates?
