Office 2000 Update Question

I have a corporate laptop with an image that has Office 2000 on it. I have
tried to update office thru the new office update interface that Microsoft
has put up on the web, but when it starts to update it asks for a CD which I
don't have. Is there any way to get around having to log a help desk ticket
and allowing me to update office myself.

Terry,

Unfortunatly there isn't a way. You will require the CD
at least once more. There are certain install files
needed off the cd, once you have a copy of these files on
your computer you will no longer require the CD.

Hope that helps a little.
