Merge using DDE instead of OLEDB?

Hi Rae,

You may want to post this in the MS Word Mailmerge & Fields
discussion group with more specifics on your request and
what you're trying to accomplish.

Word's use of DDE was when using Excel and MS Access files
as data sources and not as their default method.
