Office 2003 & 2007 - can I have both on the same system

Can I run Office 2003 and 2007 on the same system? I want to use my laptop
for instruction and would really like to have Office 2003 & 2007 running on
the same system. This would allow me to easily flip between the two and show
various differences.

If this can be done are there any concerns I should be aware of?

I'm installing on a WinXP (32 bit) system and currently have Office 2003 Pro
installed (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Publisher - I don't plan to
install Access)

Certainly you can - but only one version of Outlook

You can install 2007 in parallel, but only a single Outllook version
Ensure 2003 is updated, maybe amend any 2003 shortcuts, eg Word>Word03 prior
to installing 2007. Dont select upgrade option for the install.
2007 will be the default app when opening a doc from explorer.

Thanks to Gordon and DL - using just one version of OL is not a problem.
Hopefully I can make the install in the next couple of days. This is a new
system build thus the settings in Office 2003 are not important at this
time.
