Office 2003 and Office XP on same machine?

Rick

I have XP Word and Excel pretty much trained to do what I
need. IT wants to install Office 2003. I have disk space
aplenty but I don't want to spend any time learning new
software.
Can I install Office 2003 on my Windows XP Pro machine,
and just leave it unused, while continuing to use my XP
products?

Thanks

Yes, if you select a custom installation, elect to install to a new
directory and elect to keep all of your previous versions. The only program
that will update is Outlook 2003 as you cannot have 2 versions on the
machine in the same OS partition.
