Office 2003 install trouble

I have MS Office that I bought for the old computer and now I'm trying to
install it on the new computer with Vista and it errors and tells me there
is a missing INI file. It installed on my last computer fine and on the
laptop. Both had XP.
Is there something I need to change or add/download to get this to install
with Vista?
Thanks, Bub

"Settings files E:FILES\SETUP\SETUP.INI is missing or invalid. Please
ensure this file exists and is accessible."

Retail edition bought from ebay a number of years ago. Has always worked
before.

1st check the disk by opening it and see if this file is on that disk. Let us know. Also what part number is imprinted on the label of this disk. It should be something like beginning with X0 xxx xxxx xxx

Thanks for the idea!! I went to see if the files was on the disk and could
n't find it so I found one that called "std11n" and double clicked and it
all installed just fine.
Thanks again>
