Office 2003 installation

I installed a copy of Office 2003 Professional on my new computer that has no
more licence available. I found I didn't need all the features of Pro and
have now purchased Office 2003 Basic. The time is about up on the pro edition
and I want to install the Basic edition. Do I have to remove the Pro edition
to install the Basic edition? I'd like to be able to save my emails and such
in Outlook.
