A
Ageing Brilliantine Stick Insect
We have been on Office 97 for years. A year or so ago we acquired about 30
Publisher 2003 licenses. With those licenses we received the Office 2003
media kit. I created an administrative setup point. On various PCs around the
place, we ran the setup from this administration point, and just selected
Publisher 2003 from the list of 2003 applications to install.
We are now in a position to install the full Office 2003 program. I have
created a custom installation using the Wizard. In this I specified to
install all 2003 apps, and Could you please remove (@greatlakes.nsw.gov.au)

works fine on our standard PCs that have Office 97 and no version of
Publisher installed. If I run this setup from a PC that has Office 97 and
Publisher 2003, the setup ONLY installs Publisher 2003 (even though it's
already on the PC), and completely disregards installing any of the other
2003 applications, despite the fact that the custom setup I created
specifically says to install all 2003 apps.
The only solution I have been able to come up with so far is to manually
uninstall Publisher 2003 from the affected PCs and then run my customised
2003 setup. This adds a few minutes to the process. Is there any way I can
get the customised setup to work on PCs that already have Publisher 2003
installed?
