Office 2003 SP2 install problems

I have Student/Teacher Office 2003 on an XP machine. I downloaded the full
version of Office 2003 SP2 and installed it. Under Add/Remove software, it is
shown installed. At the MS Office Update site, it is shown uninstalled and I
am not able to download and install additional security updates. I tried
reinstalling SP2 and I get an error message that says the expected version
was not found and the install aborts. Any suggestions?

Hi, do you have installed the last Excel Patch KB905756 ?
Than you have to delete the following reg keys, then sp2 update should run

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Patches\188A70814A751974F81247587F581A1E

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\9040110900063D11C8EF10054038389C\Patches
