office 2003 would not open

I can't open Access, Excel and word. Get a message that program encountered a
problem and needs to close.
Tried reinstalling and repairing program. Did not work!!!!
HeLP!!

I suspect this reply was intended for another post.

The Windows Installer CleanUp utility is for resolving errors, such as
missing *.msi files, for the Office installation.

Frank, since you were able to reinstall Office then obtaining the
utility is not necessary.

What is the exact error message? Did you install any new software or
hardware recently?

You could be encountering a conflict with a third-party add-in. Try
resolving the error for Word first and then the issue should be easy
to pinpoint for the other applications.
