office 2004 error for just one user

Hi folks,

I have a G5, fresh installation of Panther and Office 2004. Entourage
worked for a few days, and then craps out with an error:

"An error occurred while launching. There is no such disk."

I've tried reinstalling, but no luck. I did log in as another user,
and was able to launch Entourage with no problems. In fact, I think
originally I used that user account to install Office 2004...does that
make a difference? Both accounts are admin accounts. Unfortunately,
the account that doesn't work is for the person who uses this desktop.

The only other clue I have is in Window Server log, I get the
following error right afterwards:

Aug 05 18:13:58 [1635] kCGErrorIllegalArgument:
CGXPostEventByConnection: invalid connection

Any ideas/help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!
Nancy

Two other things that we can try are:
1. Delete all preference files for Entourage 2004, the path is
Users\<user>\Library\Preferences\MIcrosoft\ and file are Entourage
Settings and Entourage Preferences.
-Recreate the profile for the user.
Check if this works.

3. Use Disk Utility to verfiy of repair disk permissions. I hope
there're no bad sectors on the hard drive, that might be the reason it
gives "There's no such disk error"

Let me know if this helps.
