We just received our Volume User release (Large US university) and it
has the same issue!

I've searched the Internet and our IT department spoke with Microsoft
and their only advise was to reinstall the machines!!! They have no
solution!!!!

I think we're @#$^%!

Would you confirm what you are trying to do. I think you are saying that you
installed Office 2007 BETA on all your machines and that you now have Office
2007 Enterprise and Product Key and cannot install it?

What is the exact error message?

Have you read all the information about upgrading from Beta to final
product?

We are trying to install the final release on machines that have NOT had
the beta installed (currently have Office 2003 Pro, full install) and we
get the error. We were told to uninstall the Office 2003 web components
and that made no difference. We're not sure what configuration it is
looking for?

Do you currently have teh compatibility pack installed? If yes, get rid of that and try again.

No we don't. We did wipe eone of the machines and installed Office 2007
right after the OS and it worked. We tried another one installing it
last and received the same message. We aren't installing anything that
weird, but Office 2007 doesn't like something. We have never had this
problem before (with Office, we have with VS.NET, all versions).

Thanks for you help.
