Office 2007 Beta

Hi I have a colleague who keeps sending me Office Application 2007 files .
I keep asking him to remember to use Save as and save the files as whatever
2003 versions, so that i can open them. Are there any filters or whatever
to allow office 2003 to open 2007 doucments and files please?
