Office 2007 Broke my monitor

....Sorry that was my fist going through the LCD! To the question:
Office 2007 professional (upgrade) and Office 2003 Pro.

If you're supposed to be able to run these applications (besides
outlook 2007, code name: lead swimming trunks)
side-by-side why do I get a 10 minute long installation nag every time
I swap.

I'm the Administrator of my 2003SBS domain so it's not an access (not
referring to the program, code named: hide-n-seek) issue.

Hello Busillis,

You can run them side by side, but yes they may reconfigure upon swap. This
is discussed at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928091.

If you are experiencing this issue with word in particular, there is a work
around to disable the re-registration with Word.

To bypass the auto-registration for Word 2007, follow these steps: 1. Exit
Word 2007.
2. Start Registry Editor.• In Windows Vista, click Start, type regedit in
the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation,
type the password, or click Continue.
• In Windows XP, click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and
then click OK.
3. Locate and then click to select the following registry subkey:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Word\Options
4. After you select the subkey that is specified in step 3, point to New on
the Edit menu, and then click DWORD Value.
5. Type NoReReg, and then press ENTER.
6. Right-click NoReReg, and then click Modify.
7. In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.
8. On the File menu, click Exit to close Registry Editor.

You will have to do this for both Office 2007 (12) and Office 2003 (11) to
keep the problem from occurring in both versions of Word.

If you also had Office XP (10) and Office 2000 (9) you would have to do it
to those versions also.
