Office 2007 Installation Issue

I am trying to install my copy of Office 2007 on my new computer. It's OS is
Windows Vista. When I put it in the prompts all come up and I click for it
to run set up. When I do this it thinks for a second then nothing happens.
I've tried repeating the process several times. Any ideas?

Go to Control panrl > programs n features .
Remove any office program that is listed there, and then try to install from
disc,
