Office 2007 keeps popping up after uninstalling it

My new computer [Vista Home Premium] had a copy of MS Office 2007 trial
version on it when I bought it. I also have Office 2003 which I installed
on the computer. I uninstalled Office 2007, but now when I open a document
or Excel sheet, Office 2007 security key pops up. What do I have to do to
make 2003 default and get 2007 completely off my computer. I uninstalled
2007 by logging into safe mode.
