Office 2007 Standard and 2003 Professional

I have two machines, A and B.

Machine A has Office 2003 Pro FULL version
Machine B has no Office.

I have also just purchased Office 2007 Standard FULL version.

I'd like machine A to end up with Office 2007 + Access 2003, and Machine B
to end up with Office 2003 without Access (since I only have one license for
Access, and two for the rest).

What's the best way to get from here to there?

Thanks,

You cannot 'split' a single Office version across different systems
ie all or part of 2003 on one PC, 2007 on the other

If however you have an Access 2003, only, cd you can install it on whichever
PC you choose

You need to try to find a full version of Office 2003 for machine B. The
specific edition depends on which programs you need. Since it's been out of
date for a year now, you may have difficuly finding what you need.

If you had purchased Office 2003 as a retail copy, then you are saved. You
will have 2 licenses with the purcahase... that means you can install it on 2
computers. If it is an OEM copy, then only one.

The second case the best we can end up with is to transfer the Office 2003
to the Machine B. You can transfer the license to another computer.

If your office is a retail, do this.

Upgrade to office 2007 on Machine A. This will upgrade Word, Excel, outlook
and Powerpoint to 2007.The rest of the programs will remain as 2003.

Put the disk on the Machine B and install office 2003 using the customise.
Deselect Acess 2003 if you dont want it.

Activate it on both computers. Any troubles / doubts you will have to get in
touch with Microsoft.

Not quite. If the OP is not the sole user, then he/she needs two licenses
regardless of OEM or retail.
