office 2k on Windows XP

Windows XP will not allow me to install Office2k Pro. Any
reason why besides it being older version. Perfectly good
software. i am confused.

Why can't you install? Did your copy of Office come pre-installed on a
previous compuer? Do you get any error messages? Please help us help you -
"won't install" tells us nothing.
