Office 97

D

David

I have used the same copy of Office 97 since it first came out. It is an
upgrade from an ealier office version. As I have updated my machines I have
reinstalled the suite and it has worked fine. I have a new laptop with XP
and it has been running fine for 12 months until Powerpoint developed a
"bug", the first in many years. I uninstalled and reinstalled the whole
suite. Everything works except for Access. I get a message saying it is not
licenced for this machine. Can anyone help with this by pointing me in the
correct direction?

Many thanks.

Hi David;
I have found this to work several times.

Uninstall Office97 completely. Search for a font named "hatten.ttf"
and delete it. Re-install Office97 and Access will work.
