office 97shortcuts don't point to correct pathes

Puzzeled ????

I have Office 97 and when I click on any of the shortcuts on the desktop it
starts searching for the exe. for what ever I clicked on ( ie : Excel ) it
doesn't find it but asks if I want it to point to Office OSA . I click no .
How do you fix this problem ?? I can't excess any of Offices programs.
