Office Assistant works in Word but not in Project - why?

I have Microsoft Project 2003 installed and also Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
The ofice assistant works in the other 3 but not in Project.

If I try and 'show the office assistant' it tells me there are no Office
Assstant character files presetn on the system and to run set up in
maintenance mode.

I've tried 'repairing' Project but it made no difference.

How can I fix this? (I don't know how to 'run set up in maintenacne mode
either'
