Office Button

Hi, Just recently upgraded to Office 2007 and on the Office Button under
Prepare I cannot find "Edit Links to Files". I know I must be doing
something silly because I cannot see that anyone else has had this problem.
I have tried but cannot find the answer. I have just done a Word module for
an online course and had to incoporate a link to an Excel spreadsheet and it
worked on my computer but when the module was marked the Assessor says that
there was no link and in comparing my Office 2007 to a friends setup it is
the only difference I can see - both of us believing that we did a standard
"install" so what have I done wrong. Would appreciate help.

Thank you

Perhaps you mean Web Options in the Application Options under the Office
Button, and then click Advanced and scroll to the bottom.

In Word it's Insert-Hyperlink to add the hyperlink then to edit it,
highlight the link and do Right-click Edit Hyperlink...

The "Edit links to files" option doesn't appear unless there are actually links
in the file you're editing.

If there are links in the file go to Prepare and look to see if there's a
downward pointing arrowhead at the bottom of the "Prepare the document for
distribution" pane. Sometimes there are more options there than will fit and
you have to scroll to see Edit Links.
