Office Keeps Installing!

Is there any fix for this problem yet?

Whenever I open an Office app (after a reboot or sometimes whenever), it
keeps telling me that something isn't installed for the current user. I
ended up copying the installation cd to my hard drive and installing from
there just so I didn't have to keep inserting the cd every time I needed to
run Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.

Thanks

Hi, tech27,

What version of Office, what operating system, and have you selected ALL
components be installed to run from your computer? Are you installing as
the administrator? What else have you tried in the past?

Have you tried using suggestions from the Microsoft Knowledge Base?

OFFXP: Windows Installer Runs When Starting an Office XP Program:

Windows Installer starts each time that a new user starts an Office 2000

Hi,

I'm running Office 2003 on XP Pro. I've tried the International Support fix
and will see how that goes.

Thanks for the tips.
