What version of Office and Outlook and do you have Outlook installed as the
default mail program?

Please, try to complete your thoughts - it makes it that much easier for us
to help you.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Horatio asked:

Office 2003 was pre-installed on my new Laptop. I have used the automatic
Windows function to copy the settings of Office XP to a new computer.
Afterwards, I could not email anymore in-line, but only as attachment.
I deinstalled Office plenty of times, nothing helped. It won't do it anymore.

Sending an email via outlook as Word Document also does not work and results
in "Can't create file" comment.

Thanks for the attempt to help

Horatio

I have a similar problem. A friend has an option in File>Send To that I
don't have, specfically, he can send to mail recipient where I can only send
to mail recipient with either the (attachment) or (for review) qualifiers.
