My Office 2003 programs take a long time to open. I noticed today while on
a DIAL UP line that each office program appears to access the INTERNET while
it is opening causing this delay. They open faster when I am on the LAN.
What are they doing going to the internet and is this necessary. It's
obviously not necessary when opening programs OFF LINE.
