Office shortcut toolbar

Robert Mebane

Have just added a new hard drive and reformatted it. My
old hard drive used Office XP and I made use of the
office shortcut toolbar. I then upgraded to Office XP
Pro. Toolbar was OK. After I reformatted the new hard
drive I installed the Office XP Pro and no longer have
the Office shortcut toolbar. I assume that the tool bar
is only in Office XP and remaind after the upgrade. Can I
install the Office toolbar without installing Office XP
and then upgrading to XP Pro???

Hi Robert,

The MS Office Shortcut Bar (OSB) was included in all
copies of MS Office XP, but it wasn't a default install
item.

If using Start=>Run and typing
MSOffice.exe
doesn't launch the OSB, then from Add/Remove Programs in the
Windows Control Panel select Microsoft Office XP and add that
feature.
