Office Tool bar question

Jan Kronsell

In office 2003 the office toolbar no longer exits. MS suggest that I use
Quick Launch in stead, or create my own tooolbar, but how do I make
shortcuts to the functions that doesn't just start programs such as New
Task, New Appointment, New Message. I have tried looking at the old buttons
in 2002, but I can't see where the shortcuts points.

Also in 2002, if i mess up the toolbar, is there any way I can recreate
these buttons, without reinstalling?

Assuming you're talking about Outlook shortcuts, create shortcuts
with switches as follows:

New e-mail message
"C:\<path>\Outlook.exe" /c ipm.note

New post
"C:\<path>\Outlook.exe" /c ipm.post

New appointment
"C:\<path>\Outlook.exe" /c ipm.appointment

New task
"C:\<path>\Outlook.exe" /c ipm.task

New contact
"C:\<path>\Outlook.exe" /c ipm.contact

New journal entry
"C:\<path>\Outlook.exe" /c ipm.activity

New note
"C:\<path>\Outlook.exe" /c ipm.stickynote

Replace C:\<path> with the actual path to the Outlook.exe file on
your hard drive (such as C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office
11).
