office trial version

I just bought a new computer with microsoft office 2003 student/teacher trial
edition pre-installed on it. After doing some research about other microsoft
office editions I am thinking about purchasing office 2003 professional
edition. I noted that it is possible to buy only the upgrade version of the
office editions when my situation is present. I also noted that I would have
to uninstall the version because they are not of like versions. Does that
mean I will have to buy the full version of the product? Or is it possible to
just purchase office 2003 professional upgrade?

See http://www.microsoft.com/office/editions/howtobuy/professional.mspx
for a list of qualifying products for upgrade to Office 2003
Professional. You can purchase the upgrade version of Office 2003
Professional if you own one of these qualifying products. Office 2003
Students and Teachers Edition is NOT a qualifying product. If you do
not own one of these qualifying products, then you will need to purchase
the full version.

Or buy the individual products that you need - a look on eBay would be
worthwhile.
