Office Update updated by your Office product administrator?

When I went to the Office Update site on my home computer I got this message:

The message on the update page read "
NOTE: Detection shows that Office products on your computer have been
updated by your Office product administrator from the administrative
installation point on a server. This means that you should not update Office
products yourself. If you are an Office product administrator, please visit
the Office Resource Kit for more information.

I took this to mean that there is nothing I can do. Is that right?

Did you install Office yourself, or was it pre-installed by the computer
manufacturer?

Have you ever successfully installed updates from Office Update? What
version of Office are you using? Can you try to repair the installation by
using the CD to run setup again?
