office upgrade deleted my apps!

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Power PC

I responded to the periodic upgrade notice by clicking install. I got an error message about a Spanish language component not installing, causing a failure in the install. After clicking OK I discovered that all of the apps had been erased. I have tried to reinstall but my 2004 office CD is an upgrade and I can't find 2001 on the system.

Do you have a backup of your application folder? You could just drag it
back.

If you have the 2001 CD, you can use it and not have to install 2001.
