Office wont start

I've had to reinstall win 98se. Now when I try to open a
office doc I get a message saying ...'windows installer
failed to install the program associated with this
file.... etc.'

How do I fix the problem?


P111 800mhz.
Ofice 2000 pro

Hi, Andy,

Try doing a repair installation of Office. You can get there using Start |
Settings | Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs. Select Office, and then
choose the repair option.
