Have tried a few times to reinstall Office XP after
monumental failure of old laptop. I keep getting that
mnessage about Office1.cab file being corrputed. I have
tried all of the solutions mentioned on the newsgroup --
flat file; ram fix; clean CD...etc. to no avail. I even
reformated the hard drive thinking it might be a problem
with XP Pro. I have my old standby - Office 97, loaded but
want the Office XP Pro. I think the problem really started
with errors I got with Office XP Pro SP-1, but not sure.
Please help... Anyone???
