Office XP *.pst file problem

I have a user running Outlook 2002 (10.6515.6626) SP3. This person has
several archive files (2000, 2001, etc...) and when they open these
files (sometimes) within Outlook it is reporting that there was a
problem opening the file and it proceeds to scan the pst for problems.

The scan has always worked and the file opens fine after that(~5
minutes each time). If I exit Outlook and manually scan the file with
scanpst.exe it reports no errors. Then when I open it in Outlook it
scans it again. Again, this doesn't happen all of the time.

Anyone have any thoughts on which direction I need to go with this
one?
