I applied SP3 to bring Access upto date.
Suddenly I have lost control over numlock.
It will turn itself on and stay on no matter what I do.
Then it will behave properly for a while, then go wrong.
I thought it was hardware and discussed with IMB (I am
running a Thinkpad T23) Tech advised me of no known
failure of this tyrpe with the T23, but was aware of
software problem. Refered me to Microsoft KB.
I consulted article 315468 in KB. It tells how to change
registry. I went to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control
Panel\Keyboard and reset InitislKeyboardIndicators to 0.
It was at 2. So far so good. But this smells like a
problem to me. Hello Mircosoft!
