What would cause Word to open really slow it is running on
Win Me 256MB memory, plenty of hard drive space, system
resources at 83%, any ideas.

May help
If using Norton, disable "Microsoft Office Document scanning
Open NAV/Miscellaneous/deselect "enable Office Plug-in
If not you can search the group/ or google your question
