If you find out, I suer would love to know.
I too just purchased a new laptop and want to install my
Microsoft Office 2000 Small Business on it -
however.....it wont let me. I cannot find any of my old
disks...heck, I may have dumped them, never thought I'ld
need them. I have a registered version, but it doesn't
work...I'm dead in the water..no fun.

Assuming its an upgrade version of O2k you need a qualifying product to
install it.
The QP disks are required by the licence, no QP disks, no licence

Under the terms of the upgrade license, without the earlier version you will
have to buy the full version of Office. There are no exceptions.
