I recently installed Office 2007 Ultimate to my laptop and noticed an
annoying oddity with my Inbox.
I have the folder set to display "total number of items". About 90% of the
time I see the number change showing me that a new e-mail has arrived, but
the new message does not display. The only way to get it to display is to go
to a different folder (i.e., Sent Items) and then go back to the Inbox. It
is only then that the new message(s) display and can then be read.
Does anyone have any sort of an explanation, fix or workaround?
I'm thinking of calling a priest soon.
