I
Ian Roberts
I'm using Outlook 2002 SP3 on XP, in IMO mode. I have several
POP3/SMTP accounts, used for different businesses I represent; I can
choose which account to send from when composing mail, and Outlook
sends using the account I specify. The recipient sees the message as
being sent from my chosen account. So far so good. HOWEVER, the copy
of the mail that is saved in my Sent Items folder ALWAYS shows it
having been sent from whatever account I have specified as the Default
Account, regardless of which one I have actually chosen to send from.
I've set up all my accounts with the correct reply-to addresses etc,
so why is Outlook getting confused?
Although this problem appears to be cosmetic only, it is misleading
and does not inspire confidence when I show my clients copies of the
mails I have sent on their behalf. Please can anyone shed some light
on how to fix this?
TIA,
Ian
