Hi there,

It seems like the latest DSO components may need to be re-installed on all
servers (Web, App, DB):

These include:
• Microsoft SQL Server Native Client (sqlncli.msi)
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Management Objects Collection
(sqlserver2005_xmo.msi)
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Backward Compatibility Components
(SQLServer2005_BC.msi)

Please search for these on the Microsoft Site under Feature Pack for
Microsoft SQL Server 2005

Regards,

S

Sudhakar

I have followed all the steps mentioned in the following documents.
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=93743
I have installed all the needed components. Still I am getting the same
error.
Can someone help me.

Sudhakar

You can check this blog post

I would suggest you try the option 2 (SQL Database rather than the
repository file)

Did you restart the analysis services after all the configuration steps?
If so then there is probably an account trying to acces your repository and
it fails to do so. Could you add the SSP account to access the repository as
db_owner and try again?
You can also check your event logs on the server (where sql/analysis
services are installerd) if any logon denied popsup.
