old program, new program Publisher

I have MS Publisher 2003 on computer, My son instaled MS publisher 2.0a from
1991-1993 now when I try to open anything I have done on 2003 the old program
takes over and can not open the file. I haved looked for the older program to
uninstall but all I can find is the 2003 program. Can someone please help?!!!

The old program was designed for Windows 3.x, so does not add an uninstaller
to Add/Remove Programs.

You can use Help > Detect and Repair in Publisher 2003 to reset Publisher
2003 to open Publisher documents.

Did you try changing your file associations?
Navigate to one of your .pub files and right
click it...from the menu...choose...Properties /
General tab / Change button...Choose...
Microsoft Office Publisher / OK / Apply / OK.
