Old version after upgrade

I suspect I know the answer to this but here goes.

I have upgrade my version of Office xp to Office 2003 because I now have a
Vista laptop.

Can I use the old Office xp software on my other machine, which currently
has Office 2000 installed?

In addition to JoAnn's correct answer...here's an article that
explains licensing and multi uses (as well as OEM) in detail...

Hope this helps...

Good one ... one thing I think it needs, though, is to remind people to do a
CUSTOM rather than Typical install. Wouldn't that be necessary even to *see*
the screen that asks for permission to blow all the old stuff away?

Thanks. Yeah, this is one we kinda hashed over in the private groups
for a bit regarding some of the licensing terminology.

Hey Steve...

Yikes??? I THOUGHT it did? I know that is the route. I wrote this some
time ago with the helps of Beth Melton...who pointed out the fact that
2007 now takes it's own dir. I'll have to reread it and possibly
update that point. Thanks for pointing out that possible miss.
