I have a lot of files in olk37 that are still there. I don't know the usage
of the olk37 folder. Can you clarify the usage of this folder. and if I can
get rid of those files.

This is not a Office file. At least not Off2000\2003. Have you tried to
right click on file and select Properties and see where and to what it
belongs to

There are files .bmp. word tmp but I am not 100 % certain that I can get rid
of it.

If it contains what you said (bmp and tmp) I do not see any reason why not.
Unless you want to keep some of those *.bmp graphics. Word *.tmp can go
without a question

Are you using Outlook? Outlook uses a temporary folder typically named
OLKxx, where the xx will vary, to hold message attachments when you open
them. The folder is normally located in the Temporary Internet Files
folder, but could possibly appear elsewhere. So long as Outlook is not
open, you can delete the folder. Outlook will create a new one the next
time it needs it.
