On external monitor, reply/forward buttons produce blank window

I have a MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo with everything updated (10.5.6 OS X and 12.1.5 Office 2008). I run Entourage on an external monitor while I'm at work. Whenever I click the reply/reply all/forward button, a window pops up on the same monitor that is just a blank, white rectangle. The only text visible on the window is the subject line. The only way to close this window is by selecting File->Close or quitting Entourage.
So, anytime I want to reply or forward, I drag the entourage window onto my main screen and click the button and the window opens fine. Clicking the New mail button works on both screens because no matter where the Entourage window is, the new message pops up on my main screen.

I'm using dual monitors (Dell with iMac) and don't see this. This was
reported on 6/18/08, but there was no further feedback from the user.

When I have Entourage open on my external monitor (running on a
macbook pro) and try to forward or reply to a message the window tries
to render but just ends up as a white box the size and shape of the
reply/forward window. I can't get it to go away unless I shut down
Entourage. When I move Entourage back to the main display (the laptop
monitor) it works fine. I've tried two different monitors (Dell and
HP) and it happens on both. Does anyone have a solution for fixing
this?

I am also having this problem. Office 08 on Macbook pro with leopard.

Some emails open and all I have is a white rectangle - no other text is displayed. I have to shut down entourange completely and restart to open the emails properly. Weird thing is that not all emails are like this some will open with a white box and some will not.

Thoughts?

One user reported this fix for blank HTML messages.

My problem has to do with international support. This mac had Hebrew
installed (with the little flag in the corner.) After I deleted the
international support, I was immediately able to read my HTML emails.

I was having the same trouble (Macbook Core 2 Duo) and I discovered the problem for me was screen resolution the external monitor. When I had my 24" monitor set to 1920 x 1200 I would only get white rectangles. When I set the resolution to 1600 x 1000 Entourage began operating correctly. Only problem now is, I've lost significant amounts of screen space!

I'm seeing this same issue, both on my own MacBook Pro with external monitor,
plus on many other members of our staff who have MacBooks with external
monitors. I just tried lowering my resolution on the external monitor from
1680 x 1050, down to 1600 x 1000, and the issue goes away, but the image is
terrible at this non-native resolution. I then tried 1440 x 900 (no issue),
1360 x 768 (no issue), and 1280 x 1024 (THE ISSUE RE-APPEARS). It then went
away again at 1280 x 960, and at 1280 x 800.

I also noticed if the email comes up blank, but I hit the green "zoom"
button, the window seems to re-render correctly.
