One e-mail; multiple users

Is it possible to have one e-mail account accessible by different users on a Windows 2000 system?
We share one e-mail account, however if another users has downloaded the mail, I can't look at it.
If this is possible how do I go about setting it up? Or is there another option? Thanks in advance for
any help
